The Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology (11237NAT) 1 (Year 1), will develop a disciple of Jesus into a disciple making disciple. The Cert IV will grow the apprentice’s confidence and ability to explain the Gospel to unbelievers. It will also prepare them to take greater responsibility in serving in the ministries of their church. For example; leading Bible studies, teaching SRE, leading in kids clubs or youth group.

  • The church will gain from having another trained ministry worker to serve in the church, a worker that they know and trust.
  • Church members will be encouraged and inspired as they see training happening among them.
  • The Diploma in Christian Ministry and Theology (11238NAT) 1 (Year 2) trains to a higher level of understanding and skill. The Diploma qualifies someone to be employed (part/full time) to preach or lead ministry portfolios.

  • The church will have gained a high level leader who they know and trust.
  • The Diploma will be great training for anyone preparing to serve in a mission context.
  • The Advanced Diploma in Christian Ministry and Theology (11239NAT) 1 (Year 3) prepares apprentices to be assistant pastors, to lead congregations and ministries. An Adv Dip apprentice with the required gifts and experience could lead a church or (for example) take part in a church planting partnership.

  • Having an Advanced Diploma graduate that a church knows and trusts will prove to be a rich blessing as they serve the church and take the Gospel to the community.
  • The Advanced Diploma will be excellent training for the mission context.
